Responsibilities, Skills and Requirements:
The selected candidate will be for the safe and reliable operation of the equipment in his area. Working with Maintenance to plan, schedule work, coaching, developing line leaders, process improvement. The 2nd Manufacturing Manager position will be heavily involved in cost reduction, including productivity and reliability, seek continuous improvement efforts within operation and training in order to function in most reliable manner. Will provide leadership with the ability to implement problem solving strategies and successfully execute key performances metrics.
- Demand safety procedures are executed and followed according to compliance
- Manager four shift rotation
- Ensure Shift Supervisors/Leaders execute procedures and proper operation of equipment.
- Provide vision and direction to manufacturing area
- BS in Engineering or paper science with 2-5 years related experience
- Demonstrated Leadership skills with ability to work in team environment
- Superior oral/written communication skills ... direct contact with customer base is required
