Responsibilities, Skills and Requirements:
Our Client has an immediate need for a multi-talented Software Engineer with a background in Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual Basic .net . This position reports to the VP of Engineering. Selected candidate must be willing to travel to customer sites for machine installation, software upgrades and troubleshooting . Required education, background and experience to include:

Minimum AS degree in Electronics or Computer Science

Minimum of 3 years experience in VB6.0 , VB.net, C or C Programming

Ability to design analog and digital circuits
-
Experience writing PLC and Servo Motor control programs is a plus
-
Ability to write VB and VB.Net software programming to control high speed processing equipment
-
Ability to write code to collect data and save to SQL database
-
Troubleshoot and maintain legacy code
-
Write PIC programs
-
Work with customers to facilitate network connection of their equipment
-
Design electronic circuitry to facilitate operation of the processing equipment

Strong troubleshooting skills are a must
