Location: North Central, North Carolina
Salary Range 60-80K

Responsibilities, Skills and Requirements:
Our Client has an immediate need for a multi-talented Software Engineer with a background in Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual Basic .net .  This position reports to the VP of Engineering. Selected candidate must be willing to travel to customer sites for machine installation, software upgrades and troubleshooting .  Required education, background and experience to include:

  • Minimum AS degree in Electronics or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in VB6.0 , VB.net, C or C Programming
  • Ability to design analog and digital circuits
  • Experience writing PLC and Servo Motor control programs is a plus
  • Ability to write VB and VB.Net software programming to control high speed processing equipment
  • Ability to write code to collect data and save to SQL database
  • Troubleshoot and maintain legacy code
  • Write PIC programs
  • Work with customers to facilitate network connection of their equipment
  • Design electronic circuitry to facilitate operation of the processing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills are a must
