We are looking for a Plant Manager with full P&L responsibility for a manufacturing plant in the Triad.

The plant manager: Is responsible for all manufacturing and production related operations performed by a workforce of approximately 200 employees.

·   Plans, organizes, leads and controls the business site to achieve established strategic and tactical goals

·   Accountable for developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of its business environment

·   Developing input on the strategic plan for the business; implementing strategic and tactical plans for the plant operation

·   Assisting in preparing an annual business plan with primary focus on financial performance, specific objectives, contingency plans and resource requirements

·    Determining causes for excessive departure from plan and initiating corrective action. Assists in developing plans to achieve short and long-term goals for the business and the Product Line Teams

·   Monitors production costs (direct, variable overhead and period), develops plans for the elimination of non-value adding costs and aggressively pursues continuous process improvements.

·   Takes appropriate actions to reduce costs. Is accountable for meeting business safety plans and expectations. Develops appropriate plans and procedures in support of business safety strategies and policies.

·   Monitors and ensures safety awareness levels, evaluates incident trends, and actively promotes safety practices throughout the organization.

·   Monitors the production processes to ensure that the Quality Assurance functions, Job Instructions, and shop practices are maintained at their highest level of capability to minimize product liability risks.

·   Assesses rework levels, ensures that process capability problems are identified and resolved, and evaluates customer complaint trends to determine resources necessary to meet customer needs.

·   Bachelor’s degree with 7 plus  years operation experience and 5 plus years Management experience
