Location: Eastern - NC
Salary Range: 80 to 85K
Responsibilities, Skills and Requirements
The selected candidate will have responsibility for capital review of existing machine conditions. Work cross functionally with Maintenance, engineers and Plant Manager to maintain current condition of all machinery. Evaluates all returned product with QA Department to determinie cause and corrective action. Maintains tooling systems for design, procurement, storage of all standard tooling.
- Makes mathermatical/mechanical computations and analyses applying engineering and scientific principles and paractices as required
- Appropriation requests (PAR's) for major projects Establishes systems for control of project progress, time, cost, Prepared PAR post completion audits
- Directly responsible for the engineering and related funtions of his/her assigned manufacturing operation(s)

Methods, processes and procedures analysis as well as work simplification techniques as assigned

Design and/or subcontracting of tools, fixtures and quaging

Analyzing and processing engineering changes

Plant, machinery, equipment layout

Trobuleshooting technically challenging problems of machinery, equipment and processes. Analysis of improvement scheduling labor, manufacturing costs and process improvement

Initiates cost reduction proposals and investigates proposals from various sources

Supervision and direct lower-level employees as assigned.

BSME with 3+ years relevant experience or a technical Associates Degree with 6 to 8 years directly related experience

Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and various processes, tools and related mfg equipment

Extensive experience in manufacturing arena (grinding, turning, cutting, milling NC, CNC machinery and programming, CAD/CAM

Excellent oral and written communication skills required

Ability to work in an environment which call for utilizing independent judgment, analysis and creativity
